Radio Group OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES Halloween Trip to Transylvania Updated as of 10/05/07 I. ELIGIBILITY. No purchase is necessary to enter, and all contests on WKJY-FM, WMJC-FM and WRCN-FM are open to all persons age 18 and over, unless otherwise specified in contest-specific rules. Employees and families of The Long Island Radio Group, Losing It.com, its affiliates, other radio stations, record companies, and participating sponsors and their affiliates are not eligible. II. GENERAL PRIZE INFORMATION. One winner per household per thirty (30) days. Winners of prizes valued at more than six hundred dollars ($600) must wait a total of six (6) months before becoming eligible to win additional prizes from WKJY-FM, WMJC-FM and WRCN-FM. Qualifiers must reside or be employed within the geographic listening area of WKJY-FM, WMJC-FM and WRCN-FM. Prize winners must present valid identification and proof of age to claim prize. Winner is subject to state, local, and federal taxes where applicable. If for any reason the winner is unable to utilize the prize on the dates given, subsequent draws will be made until a qualified winner is drawn. Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitute prizes will be awarded under any circumstances. Prizes may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. Prizes may be claimed at least twenty-four (24) hours after winning, and within thirty (30) days, at 234 Airport Plaza Boulevard, Suite 5, Farmingdale, NY 11735 or 3241 Route 112, Medford, NY 11763. Pick-up hours are Business Days, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. In the event of any disagreement regarding contestants, winners or qualification of winners, or adequacy or value of the prize, the decision of The Long Island Radio Group Company shall remain final. All prizes will be awarded. Prize winners must sign hold harmless and indemnity agreement, agreeing to hold WKJY-FM, WMJC-FM and WRCN-FM, its licensee, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents, and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims of liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or contest. Void where prohibited. III. RELEASE. By entering a contest on WKJY-FM, WMJC-FM and WRCN-FM, each participant in the contest, including all winners, acknowledge that WKJY-FM and The Long Island Radio Group Company will have the right to reproduce, publicize, and broadcast his or her name, likeness, and all matters incidental thereto without compensation. IV. CONTEST-SPECIFIC RULES. All rules specific to individual contests are created by WKJY-FM, WMJC-FM and WRCN-FM Management, and its legal council if necessary. Decision of The Long Island Radio Group management with regard to rules, specifications, qualifiers, winners, and prizes, is final. a. Definition of Qualifier: Any person who meets eligibility requirements described herein, who wins a qualifying prize through radio contesting, or who is selected in any random drawing described below. i. Visit any of the 3 radio station’s websites: www.KJOY.com, www.WMJCFM.com, or www.WRCN.com and complete and submit the online registration form between October 5 and October 31. ii. Or, visit KJOY 98.3, 94.3 WMJC or 103.9 WRCN at any live event between October 5 and October 31 and complete and submit an official entry blank into the marked ballot box. iii. Or, visit www.darksideproductions.com and print up an official entry blank and bring it to The Darkside Haunted House in Wading River on Route 25A between October 5 and October 31. iv. One Grand Prize winner will be selected from all entries received and announced on or about Monday, November 5th. 1. Grand Prize winner will receive: Roundtrip Airfare, Deluxe Hotel Accommodations for eight (8) days and seven (7) nights, all transfers, ground transportation, all events, attractions, admissions and parties. 2. 1 Halloween Dracula Tour 2008 for (2) two to Transylvania. Tour includes: Eight (8) day trip to Bucharest, Snagov Monastery (Tomb of Dracula), Sighisoara (Birthplace of Dracula), Dracula’s Castle (Borgo Pass), Sibiu, Poenari Castle and Club Dracula and then the return trip to the USA. Hotel accommodations include: Lebada Hotel 3 (Biruintei, Bucharest), Aro Palace Hotel (in Brasov), Coroana de Aur “Golden Crown” Hotel (in Bistrita), Imparatul Romanilur (Sibiu), The Bulevard (in Bucharest) and Dracula’s Castler (in Piatra Fintinele), airfare from USA to Romania, all activities included in the Tour – including the Gala Masquerade Ball at Dracula’s Castle. 3. Trip must be taken October 27-November 3, 2008 -or- July 10-17, 2008. v. Grand Prize is valued at $4398.00. These are the official contest rules of WKJY-FM, WMJC-FM and WRCN-FM.
